Where Else We’ve Been: Mid-Atlantic

I just realized that I only covered half of our last trip. For shame! We also had a great time visiting with my aunt and uncle in Maryland and the surrounding area, including our nation’s capital (where only one tree along the tidal basin actually had any cherry blossoms left) . . .

Sakura Branch, Tidal Basin

. . . Luray Caverns in Virginia, the highlight of which is always Dream Lake, which features an awesome reflection of its stalactites . . .

. . . and touring Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles.

Opening Weekend 2010

Fun, even though I got pretty sunburned in D.C. :o)

so, how many baseball stadiums have you been to? i’m trying to convince my wife to go to more games, but now with kids on the way, we may have to put our plans on hold.

Hmm . . . We’ve been to Wrigley (obv, Cubs), Comiskey (White Sox), Fenway (Red Sox), Camden Yards (Orioles), Miller (Brewers), Minute Maid (Astros), Safeco (Mariners). I think that’s it.

One of my friends goes to a baseball game at a different ballpark for her anniversary every year. Maybe that’s what you guys can try to do when the kids get older — it seems pretty manageable!

You went INTO a cave? On purpose? I’m feeling all clutchy just looking at the picture! Nice capture tho :)

If it helps to know, I am not usually a cave-dweller. Also, this was a very large cave.
